buku ini ceritanya mengenai Jackie, seorang cewe yg ga PD n mengira dirinya dudutz bgt (padahal ga ndut2 bgt) n ga menarik..
what I learned :

wah2...masih banyak hal2 lain..
yang pasti kepala sekolahnya baik banget...
totto-chan betah bersekolah di situ.
tapi kenapa ya namanya The Little Girl at the Window..

The Plot :
Lauren punya wedding cake shop yg terkenal banget...
Tapi tunggu...Robin kan anti cowo (setelah pernikahannya yg gagal) n anti pernikahan
dan Lauren kan lagi bingung jg ttg Mr. Absolutely Right.
The Review :
This book is just an OK book..cause it's very light.
The storyline is OK.
It's about friendship, love but more important it's about finding the "right" thing...hm......less

usually I like reading books with historical background, but this book is not that enjoyable to me.
Amy Tan is famous for her writing of the mixture of Chinese and America culture.
I always love culture, so I decided to read this book.
I usually skim the book first.
Unfortunately, the first and second chapter is not that interesting.
I have to admit that my imagination was not run wild.
The latter chapters were better.
Funny things happened after I read this book.
:) I could't sleep hahahaha :)
I kept thinking about the characters in this book.
This is a story about a woman(her name is Ruth) who (accidentally) find out about Ruth's mother's past.
and who is the bonesetter's daughter???
well, she is Ruth's mother's mother (aka her grandmother)
My favourite part of this book is when Ruth's mother found out that her real mother was her nanny (bao mu) in a painful way.
And I also like the part when Ruth's mother remarried again.
I learn from this book that we should not regret our mistakes in the past.
We should bravely take the consequences of that mistakes.
Let it be a lesson for the future but do not forget it, it should remain as a memory........less

I've almost forgot how much I enjoyed reading Enid's books. I read her books (St. Claire n the naughtiest girl series) in my junior highschool. I used to imagine myself being one of the girl who enroll in St. Claire :) and play lacrosse in my spare time (hahahaha :)).
I borrowed this book in Comic Borrowing Center last Sunday. I still enjoy it now and still imagine myself being Darrel (the main character). I've been reminded about friendship, laughter and character building. Nice book... :) ...less
