The next meeting is supposed to be Dec 10. Have you tried to download the book yet? IF you have a problem let me know. I will find a solution.
There are 145 pages and no chapters, so we can divide the book by the number of people to figure out how many pages each of us is responsible for summarizing. I think e have 8 people who are supposed to read it, so that is 145 รท by 8 = 18 pages each.
I will take the first 18 pages. Would anyone like to volunteer for the next 18 pages, from page 19 to 36?

, too! It is about a 12 year old boy who has lost his parents, and he and his sister are living in foster care. He is trying to take care of his sister even though they are far from each other, by writing letters to her about his life. It is really good!We're reading it for the Book club this month. We'll be meeting on December 12 to discuss it, but we'll be talking about it in the goodreads group throughout the month. Why don't you think about joining in?

THis is the book we are reading now in the Cafe Litteraire Book CLub. TO get your copy so you can read it, you need a computer to read it on.
If you have a laptop you can bring it in and I can set it up for you. Or if you want to do it at home, I can give you instructions.
To buy it, you need a credit card. If your parents don't have one, the school can purchase it for you.
Let me know what you want to do....

Yeah, I really like those! I think we should make them more often. Maybe one for each of out sections. What do you think?
Don't forget - if you want us (ICSA) to purchase the book and load it for you on your computer, you have to bring it to school. Otherwise, if your parents have a credit card, they can order it online themselves.
