i love this book. it is my all-time favorite book. i read it this time for a book club and more like a novel than a philosphy tale. i love the characters and the plot. Dagney Tagett is a great heroine and the men that love her are incredible as well. I think we all could use a John Galt is our lives. This tale seems to fit into today's political discussion as well as it did over 50 years ago.

I love to read short murder mysteries with a theme. this was better than a lot of them. i like d the characters especially the main character running from a cheating husband. she gets work in a boiler room telemarketing firm and stumbles across a murder.Plot moves and is plausible enough with enough bizarre twists to be fun. good light reading ]]>

Very disappointing. The plot was very predictable. There was only one plot twist i didn't see a mile away. The characters were one-dimensional and could find no real reason to care what happened to them. James Patterson used to be one of my favorite authors. The last two books i've read of his were disappointing and felt like he mailed it inl ]]>
