How do you feel about space?
Adventures?

If you answered yes to any or all, this book is a sure-fire quick and enjoyable read for you. As an admirer of zombies and the selector for my library's Sci-Fi section, I picked this up to see what all the excitement was about; I read it, horrified and creeped out, in about a day.

The writing is well, good! The story is quick, freaky and fun; the cover terrifying and the imagery it provokes: bone chilling!

This was truly a pleasure to read!

What a great tried and true adventure/coming of age story but with great added flourish! The sketches, notes and maps throughout the story do enhance the reader's experience and the characters and locations are so well developed, you really do find yourself among them.

There are so many scenes and thoughts that have stuck with me, this is one of those stories that I could easily pick up again and again.

Eerie, creepy and beautifully wrought language combine to create an interesting take on Frankenstein's monster. I especially appreciated the author's ability to create such realistic settings; Geneva, the streets of London, riverwalks and laboratories, each are imbued with such detail and feeling, I thought I was visiting each scene myself.
