is finished with House of Shadows: Nice little standalone fantasy, but leaves the door ajar for further adventures for the characters. Sort of a multi-protagonist story. I liked it. Wouldn't have minded getting to know individual characters a bit more, but didn't feel like there was room for that and to have the plot work so neatly and well-synchronized.
