Inexcusable had the potential to be an excellent book. It was endorsed by an author I adore and had a promising storyline. But when it came right down to it, Inexcusable was a boring read that took me far too long to finish then it should have. The author's writing style was irritating, and aside from Gigi, the characters were unbelievable and unlikable. I had no sympathy for the main character and I think the author was attempting to evoke emotions in readers by attempting to create a likable character who placed himself in a compromising situation. This didn't work for me and I finished the book feeling nothing for this character.
For a person interested in this particular subject matter, I would suggest reading Speak or Lucky. Avoid this overhyped book.
