If you like clear, linear plot lines and neatly wrapped up endings this book is probably not for you. It's also could've been cut by 100 pages or so. Having said that I really enjoyed it. It felt like a strange, intriguing dream. Predictable it is not. The Manchuria subplot was particularly fascinating. Don't know if it's a great book but it's definitely memorable and unique.
