Suspense

So far, this is my favorite of the Grant County series. There are two interrelated stories, with great suspense with both of them. We also learn a lot of Jeffrey's back story as well as the beginning of Sara and Jeffrey's love story. Good rea

Science fiction wonder

In this second book in the trilogy the story continues with drama, action and rapid pacing. The characters continue to evolve. The final book in the trilogy is not due out until Jan 2016, but I've already pre-ordered it.

Reporter

The main character is an investigative reporter who loves her work. She comes home for a funeral and gets involved in solving two murder mysteries. I found the story engaging but didn't get very onvolved with any of the characters.

Light mystery

If you are looking for a light quick read, this book may be what you are looking for. I found it a little too light. Never got involved with the characters.

Incredible

An incredible read. The author, as usual, gives us a great story and characters who are alive. This story is told from the viewpoint of a 14 year old girl whose mother is a midwife in Vermont. It is a book I couldn't put down.

Best of the best.

I love this series and this, so far, is my favorite. If you haven't read any these books, and like forensic medicine, give these a try. So far they're all good.
