I picked this book out because the cover just caught my eyes. I love that shade of blue with the white backdrop, and the branches and then I saw that red dot on the i and I thought what the heck does that mean? Anyways, I had a feeling that I might not like the book because I am a big fan of the Twilight Saga and a major Team Edward supporter so I'm a bit bias against wolves. But I got it anyways. Oh but how I underestimated those wolves.
It started off as a slow read. I found Sam and Grace's relationship to be a bit weird at first because I couldn't understand how they were able to fall in love with each other when she was a human and he a wolf. As I started reading more of it, I eventually got over that because Stiefvater actually made it seem that they were in love and not some silly obsession. The book started getting better and better. I locked myself in my room not wanting to be disturbed. The book had me on the edge. It had such a perfect ending. The last chapter was the reason I gave it four stars rather than three I would have loved to give it four point five if that was possible.
Can't wait until the sequel comes out. I hope we get to see more of the other wolve and maybe some more action.
