The second edition to the Alpha & Omega series was much better than the first installment. I liked the first one, but it was just pretty good. Hunting Ground was a very enjoyable read.

If you are a Mercy Thompson fan this series is a must-read to add details to her world (Mercy isn't in the Alpha & Omega books, the books are about secondary characters from the Mercy Thompson series.) BORING! I didn't get very far in this book. It was a been-there-done-that beginning.
