          <body><![CDATA[This book was almost everything the first book was!  Not that it was inferior, but it wasn't until nearly the end of the book when I realized its level of greatness.  Right now I'm still in shock over this book, much like I was when I finished the first one.           <body><![CDATA[I've just begun <a href="http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6077427.The_Other_Lands_Acacia_2_" title="The Other Lands (Acacia, #2) by David Anthony Durham">The Other Lands</a>.  So far it's fantastic!  I think the first book of this new Acacia series, <a href="http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/565335.Acacia_The_War_with_the_Mein_Acacia_1_" title="Acacia  The War with the Mein (Acacia, #1) by David Anthony Durham">Acacia  The War with the Mein</a>, needs to be put on my list of all time favorites.  It's fantasy but it's also very literary.  He really dives into the human psyche and questions what is good and bad.  Nothing is black and white, and in these books the grey area is everywhere.]]></body>

          <body><![CDATA[It's interesting how Fox uses Hadrian as a model to look at the Classical world.  Never really thought about that before.  He did travel the whole empire, Britain to Egypt, minting coins as he went commemorating monuments.
