Honestly, this is a pretty good book. The setup is kind of eye-rolly, but once she gets into showing what the circus train life is like, it's interesting and nicely detailed. Only problem: this book is a really, really tough read if you love animals. A *lot* of animal abuse (the main character is a vet) -- more than I could stand. This is the first book since The Summer Tree to make me full-on start crying.
