I didn't actually finish it! Tragically someone recalled it from the library. It's about a man whose memories are being eaten by a conceptual shark -- one of the largest and fiercest of the conceptual fish. It took me quite a while to hook into/get at all the basic premise with the conceptual fish etc., but once I did, I quite enjoyed it, although the actual prose is not absolutely first rate.
