I was a little concerned at first, because the premise of this book was so utterly preposterous! Once I was able to suspend reality and just ENJOY the book, however, I found it throughly enjoyable and quite the fun romp!
Every now and again, I would have an eye rolling moment but all in all, just fun, as all of Sophie's books tend to be. It is hard not to smile reading her books!
But the shopaholic movie... let's just not go there! LOL! ]]>

I just could not read this book. The entry-style writing Karl uses, as well as his impersonal voice, just didn't allow me to get into this book in any way. I did read and have the Noah series on my shelves, as written by his father.
I am glad to know that Karl is well though. ]]>
I had my library order this book and it was well worth it.
This book was a smartly written and interesting look at Jerry Falwell's Liberty University. A strongly evangelical school of ultra religious conservatives, Kevin Roose was able to find the differences in the students and the commonalities between all types of people.
I enjoyed it enough that I can see myself re-reading it at some point. I also would love to check out Liberty, just for kicks! ]]>
