I love this short treatise on how Mr. King writes and believes the process works. I am also very fond of the section in which he analyzes the car accident. A keeper, and one to reread periodically to remind me why I write.

This was the last Stephen King book I read for a decade. It scared the crap out of me and I adored it. Creepy ghost story? Spooky kid? Seemingly supernatural isolation? Bleak, hard winter? This book pushed all the right freak-me-out buttons. I plan on rereading it shortly to see if it is still as scary. I hope so!
