I still really like the characters, setting, the meals... but the mystery in this one held no interest. I didn't really care who blew up the boat, so stopped reading. ]]>

I really wanted to like this and enjoyed it until Valentina and Elspeth make some crazy decisions. I almost thought I had read it wrong. I like Martin, though and how Julia was a better person when she was interacting with him them when she was with her twin. ]]>

I don't like many of the Jane Austen copycat books, but this series was really enjoyable. I think the author wisely used Elizabeth and Mr Darcy as background characters, but focused on their children. Pride and Prejudice devotees can't be offended by changed views of their favorites, but they still get a glimpse of their future lives. ]]>
