This book was a classic autobiography! Was an invigorating whirlwind of a story and account of Assata's life, that detailed her existence from young to her escape from prison. Assata Shakur, is a revolutionary sister who continues to fight for the freedom of all people, but mostly black and other minorities who have been oppressed.
Assata talked about her life in alternating chapters throughout the book, that kept me glued to her story of her life... it was amazing, horrifying, and real! There are many unanswered questions in this book for me, but due to her circumstances, I'm sure those details are vague for a reason. I would definitely recommend this book to others, and this book rated a 5!! One of my top 10! Assata An Autobiography
