<about>I definitely march to my own drummer, but I also happen to really love the human race and this planet. I value alone time and being with others equally. I'm an ENFP on the Myer-Briggs, a real feeler. I like to teach and to write, and I'm a nurturer until I get burned out. I would love to have the Denver Art Museum to myself and a group of friends for a day to just play.
I also like to sing and play music. I like to sit around with my native American drum and let people use it for therapy.
I think I have at least two books in me, but I'm reluctant to let them out. More songs too. I try too hard to be left brained when I am just the opposite. My bullshit meter is getting shorter as I get older. I love books and film and talking about them. Ditto with music.
I have chosen different careers in biology, counseling, teaching and writing and worked with all ages and populations, but still don't know what to do when I grow up. I am an insomniac and would trade for narcolepsy. I think Americans work too hard. I have 2 masters degrees but have never made much money. I wish I had nine lives, so I could have started as a writer, a music therapist, a professional musician, a philosopher and a shaman.</about>
