Samantha Kingsley is part of the cool crowd, popular and doesn't think twice about any of her actions. She's happy to just be apart of the group. That is, until she dies. Sam relives the last day of her life over and over, realizing that just the slightest change affects her day in majors ways.
In the beginning of the novel, I couldn't stand Samantha. She was obnoxious and to be quite honest, a bitch. However, the more you learned about her, the more you loved her. The author repeats her day seven times and not once does it get boring. It's an interesting approach and Oliver writes eloquently and flawlessly. The reader feels like they are Samantha, trying to figure out how to set things right.
The end is beautiful and poignant. Sam's relationships with her friends, family and aquaintences all really strike a cord with the reader. The book is overall an amazing piece of work by a first time author. ]]>

I LOVED this book! It's basically about two guys with the same name, Will Grayson and how meeting each other essentially changes their lives. The chapters switch back and forth between their voices. Tiny Cooper is O.W.G.'s best friend and, in my opinion, the best part of the story. His larger than life personality (and figure) make you instantly fall in love with him, similar to the way he instantly falls in love with all his boyfriends. I found myself constantly smiling while reading this book and can't help but smile now as I think back. A truly fantastic read. ]]>
