A very satisfying conclusion to Stephen Lawhead's trilogy, The Raven King.

Tuck was a practical man, a practical priest and presented throughout the series as a model working man's spiritual shepard to his rag tag flock of outlaws, outcasts and displaced persons. We should all be so lucky to encounter such a person in our lives. Lawhead draws a beautiful contrast between Tuck, truly a man of God, and the evil Abbot who was a glaring example of the worst kind of religious man one could ever have the misfortune of knowing.

The ending was a romantic's dream, yet before he is truly done, Lawhead easily jumps forward in time and deposits his readers back into the time period everyone associates with the legend of Robin Hood. It was a delightful series with interesting and fun adventure sequences. Any and all time warps, alternate universes and liberties with my beloved hero are hereby forgiven and forgotten. ]]>
