Tom Wolfe is a incredible writer. He's a bit raw in this early book, but I absolutely loved it.
All of the legends about the 60s, drugs, free love, etc, seem to start with Ken Kesey. This is a great look inside his world.

Really fantastic. Did not expect to like this title given my inability to stomach most novels set in the Victorian - or in this case post Victorian world. A wonderful romp of introspective nostalgia tinged with questioning your past.

I picked this book up knowing nothing about it nor Thomas Wolfe. I can't recommend it enough and plan on reading anything else he's written.
