It is a very, very good book which, next to being a great fantasy story in a world most of us will already be at least vaguely familiar with, touches topics like believe, religion, the nature of good and evil, racism and much more.

I love the Mercy Thompson series.
I could read about her going shopping for boots and not be bored, I guess. *laughs* But of course, first Mercy wouldn't go shopping for boots to fill a whole book, and second Patricia Briggs seems to have too many ideas for this.

Bone Crossed has a few flaws, though. It was, at times, too fast paced for me. I was keeping hoping she'd slow down a little and give more... more! *laughs* And it was too short, but then, it always is.

The story is fun, the character developments are great, and friends of the series will love this book. Those who haven't read the others yet should do so first, though, or they'll get lost.
