  		Yes, I used to have quite a large garden.  Our current location (rain, no sun) is not conducive to growing a lot of things.  If you want to garden, I'd suggest starting off with a few things in containers.  I think the growing season is pretty short where you're relocating too and you may not have time to get things in the ground this year.  If you're interested in starting with some herbs, rosemary and mint are pretty sturdy, grow quickly and are hard to kill. You could also grow them in a sunny window.  Check at your local garden store, I'm noticing a lot more classes being offered on vegetable growing.  A local place could give you an idea of what you'd have time to grow this year, if you're really gung ho on getting started.
