Billy Budd, Billy Budd, what can I say about Billy Budd. Well first of all the name Billy Budd is ridiculous, his parent's must have really had it in for him since day one. Second, everything in this book was one big allagory and getting up to the good parts was tortuous. Not to mention the one dimensional characters who majorly lacked in substance. There has to be a better book to teach symbolism in schools. Anything would be better than this crap.
Also, I have a theory that this entire book is just all sexual symbolism to Melville's inner most fantasies. Teehee. ]]>
