On my latest desperate attempt going hunting for the rest of the Twilight Saga, I stumble upon this book...
My first thought was "okay, i'm experiencing mom syndrom"...
But after reading the few lines written on the back cover, i tought "hell, this sounds interesting, why not give it a go"... afterall, all bookstores seem to run out of Twilight stock...

Back at home, I started reading this right away, and it's been in my mind ever since...
Not such a novelty on the theme, but the words are ever so flowy that you kind of just turn and keep on turning the pages without even realizing it...

It's a story of a 60yrs old mom whom about to leave her daughters forever for failing to battle cancer... Her four daughters, each having their own stories and problems, struggle to grasp the fact in their own ways...
Mom then leave a journal for them to hold on to after she's gone...

So as you guys can read above, it's not a new theme...
But what makes this book a real page-turner is the way the author wrote the lines in such witty and humorous attitude, that you'll find yourself amused despite the sad sorrounding of the theme...
You won't find *heart clenching soul wrenching* words trying hard to make you burst into tears in this book...
Instead you'll laugh at the sheer comedy and subtle way of teaching this book brings... In the end, it seems to me, this laugh will turn into bittersweet tears... Not that I mind at all!!! hahahahahaha!!! this was the first book dari seri 'trio detektif' yang aku baca... i remembered ngrasa takut banget pas baca buku ini dan ngintilin my nanny yang lagi sibuk jemur baju, sembari tanganku tetep mbalik2 halaman buku ini... thank GOD, di bagian akhir ada penjelasan rasional di balik misteri bayangan kepala hantu ijo yang melayang-layang di tengah cermin...
dan demikianlah dimulai kegilaanku membaca seri ini... jupe, pete, and bob, i'll always love them!!! ]]>
