I was a casual fan of Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show on CBS until after I finished this book. Now, I'm a big fan with the show set to record every night.

I had no idea about the early life and career of Mr. Ferguson. He has literally clawed his way up with determination and a bit of luck along the way. After reading about his battle with alcohol, I have a deeper appreciation for his success today.

The book is entertaining, sad once or twice, and funny throughout. I laughed out loud at the comparison between violence and sex with a gorilla... I also found his descriptions of his parents charming as he compares them to Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor, both at the beginning of the book and later during a trip to Las Vegas.

This is an intelligent, funny, and caring man with an engaging tale to tell. ]]>
