I have just finished this Piper book. I was impressed by how thorough he is in each area. He is a man of insight in the modern American Christian's lifestyle. I was challenged in many areas to change my life choices from the menial to the macro. Though challenged I did not find myself motivated to change. I need to pray on this problem. I do have to say that I was not impressed with his opening chapter for the book. If I were in a book store trying to decide on whether to buy it or not and read this first chapter I would not buy the book.
