I too agree with Chris and Charles. I enjoyed the ending of CotMW. It may sound funny, but as the reader who bought into the main characters and themes, I actually felt that I had accomplished something at the end of the book. It's like how you feel when you make a decision and follow it - you feel better! I don't mind the occasional cliff-hanger as long as I didn't have to slug thru 500 pages of drivel for some action in the last few pages. Yes - I've been enjoying the COTM discussions. I am only one book ahead so I would love more thoughts on The Ships of Merior as readers experience it.

She has two series that are wonderful. I would suggest starting with the Lyremouth Chronicles- The Exile and the Sorcerer.

She also has a series called the Celaeno - that starts with the Temple at Landfall.
