Very good introduction to combinatorial applications of generating functions. Explanations are very concise, each chapter contains a set of exercises.

Great book! Stross managed to pack a lot of cool near-future stuff (AIs, 3d-printing and nanotechnology, ubiquitous wireless networks and surveillance by automatic drones and AI-controlled cameras, haptic UIs, etc.), in a very coherent novel.
