My new romantic suspense, The Twist is a Bookstrand #1 Bestseller! A story of mind-bending control and unnerving metamorphosis, The Twist unravels the tale of a hotshot consultant as he struggles to foil a plot to steal $12 million and to rescue the feisty, female scientist who has stolen his heart.

Thank you for adding me as a friend. Looks like I'll be adding even more books to my "to be read" stacks around this house!
I want to apologize for the all the recommendations from me yesterday. I wanted to share the Stoker Award news, and I only pressed the send button once--I'm not sure what happened to create so many messages. Some weird glitch.
Argh...this is terrible...
Again, I'm very sorry.

Here’s wishing you a nifty New Year filled with noiseless noses, neato nicknames, noble Nebraskans, gnarly narcoleptic nebulas, and novel novels about nut-eating narwhals and novercaphobic gnats.
-Jeremy :)
P.S.—I’m currently offering autographed/personally-inscribed copies of my novel, Vacation, with free shipping for those in the US. If there’s anything you could do to help me spread the word about this, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to click here for details:

Thanks so much for sharing, Bonnie! I loved reading your thoughts on this. I haven't read any Coetzee, but I'm definitely going to check out his work. Some of my favorites are 1984, The God of Small Things, A Clockwork Orange, and Slaughterhouse-Five. They've all inspired me deeply in one way or another.
Here’s wishing you a yippee-filled Yuletime overflowing with yard-long yams, yapping yoyo-yanking yetis, yak-milk yeast-cakes, and yellow yarn-yielding year-end yard-gnomes.
-Jeremy :)
Jeremy - Perhaps the answer to your question is that I don't know yet. I am always fascinated by the next book. The skill and precision with which an author (with assistance from the editor), writes and allows the images she sees in her head translate to words is almost always impressive.
Lately I've read Coetzee and love him and I'm reading Katherine Dunn's Geek Love and there can't be too many author's with an imagination and a way with words like she has. I think I'm determined to love books for what they are and not begin to rank them.
Coetzee's social issues and issues of race make his writing all the more poignant because he never once speaks of skin color. Dunn's description of the disenfranchised makes you want to cry because, really, it is a miserable feeling to be outside of the norm and have to deal with love, loss, etc.
How about you?
I couls probably go on and on but I'm sure you don't have time to read my tome on the subjuect.
Hi Bonnie!
If you don't mind sharing--I was wondering, what's your favorite novel of all time?
Here’s wishing you a fantastic day filled with fabulous friendships, fanciful festivities, and frolicking phantom footstools.
-Jeremy :)
Ann - Thank you so much. I am glad that you enjoyed The Middle Sister. I hope that you like the next one as well. Looking at next August pub date.
I just started, and finished, your book. I could NOT put it down. Excellent! I loved the three sisters, all so very well drawn I felt like I knew them.
Well, I'll tell you, if it wasn't for my new friends on GoodReads, I'd be down in the dumps! Thanks for your support.
