After really enjoying Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay , I was expecting a great read with this novel. The first chapter was very entertaining, but I found the rest to be quite boring. I tended to lose my focus with Chabon's lengthy sentences and difficultly of keeping some places and characters straight.
