Are we voting yet? I thought I was just yelling out comments as others were setting up the ballots?

Going on titles alone... my vote is for "Howl" in Cat.1 and Confederacy of Dunces in Cat.2(I've never read it but always wanted to for some weird reason... this could be my excuse!)

LOVED Chandler's Groucho book and this one is proving to be just as entertaining. So far it's a lovely read.

Team of Rivals? Yes, fascinating book. What's nice about it is that while it is all about Lincoln and the choices he made and the people that ultimately went from his adversaries to his cabinet and trusted allies, it is also about the makeup of the political world and time that Lincoln lived in. In my view, you will not find any of Obama's roughest adversaries ever truly letting go of party affiliations and prejudices enough to allow themselves to become one of his truest friends and trusted advisers. Ever. It just goes to show that Lincoln was not the 'only' amazing man in this time... his 'Team of Rivals' were just as amazing as him, really.

Part of my observation of Lent. I've owned this for a little while but have yet to read it all the way through (I hunt and peck, occasionally). I'm about the biggest Lapsed Catholic ever and I suppose that (in some way) my reason for reading this is to maybe reconnect with something I lost years ago. Who knows? Maybe at the very least it will help me understand my mother and her mother - two very devout women that I miss dearly.
