Parallel Journeys is a book about the people of Germany during Hitlers rule. This book tells the story about how Hitler gained power over so many people. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves history and knows a little bit about Germany during the time period that Hitler lived through.

The cover of Somewhere in the Darkness is what attracted me to this book. The two people on the cover of the book looked really familiar to me becasue they reminded me of people in my own family. Somewhere in the Darkness is about a teenage boy who meets his father in New york for the first time. Without a consideration, he whisks Jimmy away with him and starts driving South. At times, it almost seems like his father is running from something. I would recommend this book to any teenager.

This was clearly a very easy read during the summer. I would recommend this book to young middle schoolers. Its an easy and fun read for the summer! This book is a lot like the Chicken Soup series because it is a collection of short stories. I decided to read this because the Goosebumps series was my absolute favorite when i was younger. This book is perfect for kids from elementary school to early middle school- and above if you really enjoy this series like me!

Chicken Soup for the Preteen Soul is a great book. It is from the Chicken Soup series and its a collection of stories written by kids ranging in age from 9 to 13. One thing I like about this book is that it was written by kids around my age. Another thing i like about it is that you don't have to read it in order! You can skip around if you want. I would recommend this book to kids ages 10 to 14. I don't this book is so much for adults because they might find the stories slightly childish.

One night after a movie double-date, Chuck, Barbara, Debbie and Eddie are taking a stroll when they see a car. This car is not just a plain car! just as Eddie says, this car was hot. It is a brand new, white sports car, the engine is running quietly and no one is around. Tempting, huh? The car has a certain allure to it and soon they are all inside for a ride. As they are cruising along, they notice that the car radio is on. Not wanting to attract attention, Chuck tries to turn it down. The music gets louder. "Wrong way idiot!", Debbie calls out from the back seat and leans forward in her seat to turn the know the other way. But the music gets louder once again! They all struggle to turn the music down. But soon it gets too loud that their own eardrums cant take it. "Ow! It hurts! It hurts so much!", Debbie wails. A sharp stab of pain shot through Chuck's head. But this isn't the end of the horrifying experiences this car will cause. I would recommend this book to kids in 7th grade and up. Although this wasn't the best book i have have ever read, i have to say it is alright. Its the ending that makes this book not great. Read it and find out why!

Sarah, Peter and their father are on a holiday vacation in a tropical country called Sumatra. Like many tourists on vacation they thought, "What could go wrong?" EVERYTHING. Sarah, and her family are boating off the shore of Sumatra when Peter notices the water and the beach has moved so far back it is exposing coral reefs and leaving fish flopping around on the wet sand. Plants that were once completely submerged under water were exposed, flopped over and wilted and a school of minnows flopped back and forth on top of the exposed coral. Sarah new something was wrong. Very wrong. Because of the strange current the boat was trapped. In the struggle to get out and run to high ground Sarah's father breaks his leg and they are forced to split into two groups: Sarah and Peter and their parents. As they are running Sarah takes on look back towards where her parents were. She sees her mom struggling with the weight of her dad. Behind them a black wall of water casts a shadow over the whole beach. This is the last she sees of her parents for a long time. But you have to read it to find out what happens next!

I recommend this book to kids 13 years old and up. Its a pretty easy read and you will finish it quick because its hard to put down. Its a perfect summer read and its actually based on a true story!

Haley and her family have just driven across the country from sunny San Francisco California, to...New Jersey?

Yup, thats right! Haley and her family have moved to New Jersey. And Haley has to start at a new high school. But it's different here and she will be going to public school for the first time. She's an average 15 year old girl and has a reputation to start building!

I love this book and would recommend it to anyone because of the way its written. At the end of every chapter Haley has different options. Its up to you to build up her social life, but one mistake could ruin her reputation! This book is interesting to read because each time you read it, its different! As you read this book and make choices, you flip around throughout the book so its fun to read. This book is great for kids any age and fun to read.

Emily tries. She tries very hard to get along with her new stepsister Jessie who is moving into her house. But after she moves in things begin to get harder and harder for Emily. Emily doesn't mind sharing her house, room, clothing and makeup but soon sharing between the girls becomes a problem. Jessie starts to get very pushy and Emily doesn't want to take it anymore. But after Emily narrowly escapes being murdered by Jessie a few times she realizes she needs to get out. FAST! I would reccomend this book to kids 7-9th grade. It is a very easy but fun read.
