I read this book when I was a teenager, about 25 years ago. It was creepy to me then, but it was also a lesson in what life can bring our way as well because there is no limit to human evil. Evil is developed by humans, and I would not doubt for a second that a human being is capable of doing what the character of this story did. I still merit the writer for his extraordinary narration of the story. But it was good to see what other people think about this book. ]]>
This is a fabulous adult picture book, very informative, funny, and filled with amazing facts that I never knew regarding animals and their sexuality. ]]>

I vote for Storm Front, by Jim Butcher. ]]>
Rather disappointing novel. The plot was interesting, but the delivery was confusing and some of the characters were petty and one dimensional. It seemed the author lost track of the characters and was tired of them in the end. This was my first novel in the series. I heard great things about the main character, Kay Scarpetta, and thought that the fact that the author is a forensic scientist, the story would be enlightening. However, it became very technical at parts, to the point that I had to skip paragraphs because I did not really understand or care about the details of a particular machine used in forensic investigation. It may be interesting for those who use those equipments for their profession, but for the mystery reader, it is rather boring. ]]>
