This is my second Haruki Murakami’s short stories collections, the 1st was After the Quake. After the Quake contains 6 stories that share same connection while Blind Willow Sleeping Woman contains 24 stories that has no connection at all.
Here are the stories:
* Blind Willow Sleeping Woman
The story is about someone’s memory, he remembered how his best friend’s girl friend made up a fairytale about Blind willow that causes a woman to sleep eternally
* Birthday girl
A girl who had to work on her 20th birthday was suddenly given one wish…a wish that will come true. This is one of my favorite stories.

Sukaaa bgt ma komik jadul ini, saking sukanya gw ampe nge-review dlm English n jadi Japanese Literature Challenge
ora yori mo hoshi yori mo is translated into Setinggi Langit dan Bintang in Indonesian language, and As High As Sky and Stars in English. This is an old Manga by Michiyo Akaishi.It was released in 1987 in Japan and in 1993 in Indonesia. I first read this Manga somewhere in 1994…I forgot when I read it for the second time…this is my third time reading it and decided to write its review.
This Manga is considered as Shoujo Manga or Manga for girls…but unlike most Shoujo Manga, this Manga is more than just about love…there is reincarnation and super power (plus little information on Japanese history)… those are the reasons why I enjoy this Manga a lot.
