Description:
McCarthy's The Road meets Lewis' s Main Street.
After a long slow decline and some bad political decisions, most of the population has reverted to an agrarian society and pockets of humanity cling to outposts of civilization near burning cities. There's not much gas, little justice, and even less of a middle class.
After years of estrangement, Reaper looks for his family in the Midwest, and wonders what difference one man can make in a world that's moved on.
