          <body><![CDATA[This is the first Lethem book I've read and I have to admit, I really did like it. The blurb compared it to Chandler (whom I've never read) and Phillip K Dick (whom I like a lot) and while it lacks Dick's ...intensity...it does capture some of his unapologetic weirdness and social commentary. ]]></body>
