I have just finished reading Toni Morrison's "a mercy." I am speechless! The journey that I have just come from left me in the best way, exhausted. There is no greater writer in how she does what she does. This time she made me work for my understanding of her story. And it was beyond worth it. Beyond worth it. I appreciate every word. Every word. If you think you're complete, think again, Toni Morrison as something in store for you with "a mercy." Please read it. Whew! I only wish I could have given the book 10 Stars!
