The perfect book for an economics junkie like me. If you liked freakonimics, this is a slightly deeper more serious book that amazes the reader in much the same way. The title is the subject matter of the first chapter and is quite an interesting discussion. the principle behind it applies to many other situations as well.
heartily recommend to anyone who liked freakonomics...less

Following up on the success of "First, Break all the rules", the book follows up by allowing one to gain a more personal view on the subject matter of strenghts in employment and life.
While the overall point is not as deep as the one made in first break all the rules and the book can be repetitive in explaining the same concept over for several pages, the understanding of your own strenghts is a valuable asset. You will find yourself reading traits and saying "that's so me!"
Everyone should have the wonderful opportunity to discover their strengths....less

Think you're smart? We'll no matter how smart you are, you can't beat the decision making power of having to make a decision along with others. The lesson from this book is that a crowd is always smarter than an individual, even the smartest individual in the crowd. Seems crazy huh?
Until you start thinking about all the things that work this way already. Goodreads.com is that way. so is yelp. So is the stock market.
