I'm a fan of Rachel Vail, but this book really disappointed me. The "devil stole my cell" subplot was contrived at best, and I had little sympathy for the main character. There were some exchanges between characters that I just didn't understand, and others I had to read over and over to make sense of. Parts of the book were just plain poorly written. Long, and a bit slow to start. But if you can stick with it, this is an amazing mystery, examination of one (very dysfunctional) family, and it will keep you gripped until the very end. I highly recommend it! ]]>
