Updated review: IT'S NOT EVEN BASED ON A TRUE STORY. THAT "PROLOGUE" IS TRICKY...

My only qualm with this book is that, like much of western literature/culture, it treats the rape scenes too lightly in comparision to murder scenes... but it is not a gory book.
