No, I didn't read this series. And by the way, I meant that Yaya should read the book. Lol, it's okay. ]]>
The reviews of this book aren't terrific, but if you're considering reading this book, I hope you would read mine. My father happened to know Edie Kerouac Parker (known to those closest to her as "Frankie"). I'm not quite sure how they met, but my father, with the help of his friend Tim Moran, cared for her in her latter years. They fed her cats, drove her to the hospital, but most importantly, listened to those stories of Frankie and her group of friends during the Beats. Although the writing may not be good, it tells the story of a man from a different perspective, and that I find interesting. My father tells me stories from day to day about William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, and Henry Kingswell, but most of all, Frankie's stories seem to be the most unique. ]]>
