This is the weakest Dresden book, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and every book so far in this series! Harry is just too much fun!

I read this early. After enjoying the BDB books I was a little dissappointed in this. BUT I think that's just because there is SOO much series setup that happens in this book. I fully expect future books to get better and better.

I do find it annoying that Ward can't use the word boots or workboots. Every time its 'shitkickers'. Variety woman! Sheesh!

I think Loretta was the best part of this book. Her matter of fact, take no prisoners attitude was awesome!

Although, reading about a werewolf having his fingers bitten off bya zombie cow was pretty amazing too!

This was a fast read. Light, and entertaining. I had hoped for a little more humor, but, you can't have it all.

If I had to pick just one, I'd pick Phantom! I've always had a soft spot for the story, and the 07 version was amazing!

That said, I think we could all use a dose of TrueBlood, the show, to see us through these cold times. Alas, we must wait.. and wait... and wait ARGH!

Thsi was a fun, easy read. It was nice that what mythology gets mentioned wasn't the usual stuff.

This was a fun read. No deep philosphy or life changing story here, but lots of fun, some laugh, and great characters. After all, any series with a fleet of highlander bodyguards complete with kilts HAS to be good!
