I only used the first 3rd of this book, because that's all of the course I did, the Mechanics section. I found that they book was ok, but I found videos online the explained the concepts much better.

Not sure this was really my kind of story. It didn't grab me, although I didn't dislike it either. It was just an ok story to me.

This book was amazingly good while at the same time being amazingly depressing. It's really quite tragic, the American Indian Genocide. The book made me quite upset and made me question whenever the media tried to demonize a group of people.

This was pretty good until the last third when Asimov had to introduce one of his all to common cardboard cutout women characters. But it does have some good ideas and is overall pretty good.

This is still my favorite series by Brandon Sanderson. It's the right length, great characters and and great ideas. I can't wait for the next one.

A dark giddy Film Noir. I used to like these a lot as a kid, but I'm starting to tire of them a little bit. However this was not bad for this genre at all.

Barbara W. Tuchman
“Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill. Without books, the development of civilization would have been impossible. They are engines of change (as the poet said), windows on the world and lighthouses erected in the sea of time. They are companions, teachers, magicians, bankers of the treasures of the mind. Books are humanity in print.
