I did not enjoy this book. It was too sadistic and went into great detail about things that seemed impertinent to the story. It was really more like four stories walking together, but never really getting along. Now, all that being said, it is HUGELY popular, so whatever. I don't know. I guess the world is dark.

I just finished The Time Traveler's Wife. I liked it, but apparently I am in the minority. I think you need a familiarity with Chicago--she goes into great detail about where they are in the city and it might be confusing if you aren't really familiar with the city.
