          <body><![CDATA[I should state that a majority of my reading is non-fiction.  This has been true for about the past 25 years.  The one exception is science fiction, which I have been reading ever since I can remember.<br/><br/>This book is well-crafted and takes a novel approach to a time-honored (no pun intended...<a href="http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/I%20should%20state%20that%20a%20majority%20of%20my%20reading%20is%20non-fiction.%20%20This%20has%20been%20true%20for%20about%20the%20past%2025%20years.%20%20The%20one%20exception%20is%20science%20fiction,%20which%20I%20have%20been%20reading%20ever%20since%20I%20can%20remember.%0D%0A%0D%0AThis%20book%20is%20well-crafted%20and%20takes%20a%20novel%20approach%20to%20a%20time-honored%20(no%20pun%20intended)%20subject.%20%20It%20can%20be%20confusing%20at%20times,%20as%20the%20protagonist%20flips%20back%20and%20forth%20through%20time,%20and%20is%20sometimes%20--%20literally%20--%20beside%20himself.%20%20I%20disliked%20the%20use%20of%20many%20verbal%20clich%C3%A9s,%20the%20impotent%20use%20of%20vulgarity,%20and%20wayyy%20too%20much%20detail%20about%20the%20craft%20of%20papermaking,%20considering%20the%20fact%20that,%20as%20the%20acknowledgments%20at%20the%20end%20of%20the%20book%20indicate,%20the%20author%20relied%20on%20real%20papermakers%20for%20the%20details.%0D%0A%0D%0AStill,%20I%20found%20the%20book%20quite%20lyrical%20in%20certain%20spots,%20and%20found%20myself%20drawn%20in%20to%20the%20plot-line%20despite%20these%20flaws.%20%20I%20haven't%20seen%20the%20movie%20version%20yet,%20but%20doubt%20it%20will%20add%20anything%20of%20interest%20or%20greater%20substance%20to%20the%20story.">more...</a>]]></body>
