I found Core Four to be a very average book. Whilst it is technically well-written and therefore makes for an easy read, it really doesn't break any new ground with regards to its subjects. A lot of the book is rundowns of major games in their career...more

Man surprised me most about humanity. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.

Anjali is on page 50 of 512 of The Sight: Enjoying the storyline so far, though I've found myself having to reference what I've already read a few times due to the confusing way in which the writer uses the names and ranks of the wolf characters.

Also, it feels like the author's research on wolf behaviour is a little thin. This isn't so bad if you are able to suspend your beliefs and just roll with the characters and their story.

It pains me to give this trilogy just three stars, however given that the rating is an average of the three books, I feel it is warranted. Let me tell you why.

The first book, The Hunger Games, was awesome. The characters and narrative are engaging, a...more
