This books only rates an okay because it was a bit on the boring side for me. It read like Dan Brown just opened up his template from the last few books and plugged in some new words. Mad Libs, the novel. "Langdon finds himself on a flight to ______ (name of famous city). His old mentor/friend/colleague ____________ (name of man) needs his help. The evil villain _________ (name of man) who likes to _______________ (verb meaning body modification) has almost all the information he needs to destroy ________ (name of place). Langdon, professor who doesn't understand his fame, can understand messages left in code/symbols/riddle/metaphor, and save the day."

After a while, I felt like I had already read this book. Not terrible, not fantastic. I also had trouble buying into the secrecy of the Masons given their recent radio marketing campaign and open houses. (less) "
