"Now God designed the human machine to run on Himself. He Himself is the fuel our spirits were designed to burn, or the food our spirits were designed to feed on. There is no other. That is why it is just no good asking God to make us happy in our own way without bothering about religion. God cannot give us happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing." — May 17, 2012 08:28am

I like Insurgent.
***** One thing that my favorite books had to their disadvantage is that i tend to be overcritical of its sequel and/or series. I mean, if the first book was amazing, it's only logic that the rest of the books to follow will follow... " Read more of this review » |

Original post at One More Page There was a time a few years ago when I was hearing mass with my family, and I happened to stand beside this man at church. The man wasn't dressed the way other people were dressed during Sunday mass. He looked scruffy,...more |

“It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; He is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is He who provoked you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise; it is He who urges you to shed the masks of a false life; it is He who reads in your heart your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle.
It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, makng the world more human and more fraternal.”
― Pope John Paul II

Description:
A little something I wrote a little over a year ago, found it in one of my many, many blogs online. This is the story of two friends Heart and Brian, and Heart's love problems. It's not romance, but it has a hint of it, or lack of it, actually. :)
And no, there is no typo in the title. :)
Thought it's appropriate to post here (especially the second chapter, given the nature of this site.
