This book was a quick read and a fascinating look at the mind of an autistic boy. The author did a great job of getting into this boy's way of thinking and I experienced a few "aha" moments. The story kept the book moving along, too.

I think I read this a long time ago, but I definitely picked up more this time. I love the movie, which is often said to be as good as the book. While it is a superlative movie, I have to say the book is better.

Sue Grafton
“So much of the past in encapsulated in the odds and ends. Most of us discard more information about ourselves than we ever care to preserve. Our recollection of the past is not simply distorted by our faulty perception of events remembered but skewed by those forgotten. The memory is like twin orbiting stars, one visible, one dark, the trajectory of what's evident forever affected by the gravity of what's concealed.”
